Brand application, printed marketing materials, brochures, roll-up banners and event support assets
Overview
Hallmark Engineering Group brings together specialist engineering companies with different services, audiences and brand identities.
The challenge was to create professional printed materials for three connected brands: Hallmark Engineering Group, EES Solutions and Hadfield Services. Each brand needed to feel distinct, but still clearly part of the same wider group.
Nebula supported the development of brochures, roll-up banners and event materials that gave each company a clearer, more consistent and more professional presence.
The challenge
The group did not have a complete set of visual guides, brand rules or a clear design system for using the three brands together.
This created a practical problem. Each company had its own role, colour direction and message, but the materials still needed to sit together as part of one engineering group.
The work needed to solve three main issues:
Make each brand feel clear and separate
Keep a shared group style across all materials
Present serious engineering capability in a clean, professional and trustworthy way
The materials also needed to work in real business settings, including meetings, presentations, events and exhibitions.
The approach
Nebula created a visual direction that kept the materials clean, structured and serious, while giving each company its own brand feel.
The design approach used strong layouts, clear sections, careful use of brand colours, professional imagery and simple messaging. The aim was to make the materials feel suitable for engineering, manufacturing and technical decision-makers.
For Hallmark Engineering Group, the materials focused on the wider group story, leadership, structure and acquisition message.
For EES Solutions, the materials focused on engineering expertise, systems thinking and advanced technical capability.
For Hadfield Services, the materials focused on manufacturing, precision, practical delivery and specialist engineering support.
The brands were treated as separate but connected. This helped the group present itself as organised, credible and commercially mature.
What Nebula delivered
Nebula supported the project with:
Printed brochure design for Hallmark Engineering Group
Printed brochure design for EES Solutions
Printed brochure design for Hadfield Services
Roll-up banner designs for EES Solutions and Hadfield Services
Event-style ticket invite design
Consistent layout and visual treatment across the group
Clearer presentation of services, culture and capability
The result
The final materials gave the group a stronger and more consistent professional presence.
Each company had its own look and message, while still feeling connected to the wider Hallmark Engineering Group family. The brochures helped present the culture, leadership, values and engineering capability of the businesses in a more polished and structured way.
The roll-up banners gave EES Solutions and Hadfield Services clear event-ready assets, suitable for exhibitions, meetings and client-facing environments.
The ticket-style invite added a more memorable event asset, giving the group a creative but still professional way to invite people to a defence-sector event.

Why this project matters
Technical businesses often grow faster than their brand systems. Different companies, services and teams can end up using inconsistent materials, even when they are part of the same group.
This project helped bring structure and clarity to a complex brand setup.
The result was not just a set of printed assets. It was a clearer way for the group to present who they are, what each company does and how the brands fit together.
